# Global Hiring: Building the Foundation for AI Agents Worldwide — Join Us

Five months ago, we open-sourced CubeSandbox.

Today, its footprints have landed around the world — China, Japan, India, Iran, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Singapore… 12,000+ stars from developers across time zones.

But we believe this is just the beginning.

The AI Agent era is arriving. Every piece of code an Agent writes, every command it executes, every file it opens needs a safe place to run.

That is the mission of the sandbox: to build a faster, more stable, more efficient foundation runtime for AI agents everywhere.

**What CubeSandbox aims to do is bring such sandboxes to the whole world — with faster, better, more stable products and technology, reaching more countries and regions.**

This is a big undertaking. That's why we're looking for someone to build it — and dream it — together with us.

## The Role

**Tencent Cloud – CubeSandbox Elastic Computing Platform R\&D Engineer (Shenzhen)**

* **Business Group**: CSIG (Cloud and Smart Industries Group)
* **Category**: Technology / Technical R\&D
* **Location**: Shenzhen, China

**Responsibilities:**

1. Own requirements development, performance, and quality assurance across the full stack of the CubeSandbox elastic computing platform, including but not limited to the control plane, scheduling, virtualization, storage, networking, and low-level system software;
2. Support internal business needs of Tencent Cloud CubeSandbox and the day-to-day R\&D maintenance of the external open-source community;
3. Continuously explore new Infra requirements from Agents based on the CubeSandbox platform.

**Requirements:**

1. Bachelor's degree or above in a computer-related field, with 3+ years of relevant work experience;
2. Solid systems programming skills (Rust / Go / Python), with good taste for clean, maintainable code and architecture;
3. Passionate about how systems work under the hood, with strong curiosity for new technologies and the persistence to follow them long-term;
4. Large-scale, real-world project experience in at least one of: computer architecture, networking, storage, virtualization, or scheduling — or an obsession with performance;
5. Strong teamwork and problem-solving under hard problems.
